About Us

Heidi is a skilled ACA accredited Counsellor/Educator and Professional Clinical Supervisor with 14 years counselling experience, holding a Master of Narrative Therapy and Community Work, an APA accredited Graduate Diploma in Psychology degree, a Bachelor of Applied Social Science (Counselling) degree, AOD certification and many years of professional development.
Heidi was born in South Africa and emigrated to Australia in 1998. After many years of studying and working in various roles such as Therapeutic Day Rehab Counsellor, Case Manager and Group Facilitator, Counselling Clinician, Care and Recovery Co Ordinator, AOD Assessor, Tutor, Assessor, Resource Writer and Course Validator for the Diploma of Counselling, Team Leader and Distance Tutor counselling, Trauma Centre Australia Consultant, she now practices out of a home office in Drouin South. Heidi has always been passionate about ethical practice, being accountable to clients, recognising operations of privilege and power and most of all, having compassion.
